drainage, combat moisture and prevent air infiltration. Its use will create a more comfortable, energy-efficient home or building.

Tyvek® DrainWrap™ acts as a secondary weather membrane against incidental water that might enter around windows, doors or other joints. The barrier features vertical grooves that are engineered onto the surface to provide outstanding bulk water drainage. Combined with flashing and weeps, the grooves on Tyvek® DrainWrap™ help channel water safely to the outside when it is placed between the sheathing and the façade.
Specifically, Tyvek® DrainWrap™ is best used in conditions where a wall system design calls for maximum drainage, such as primed wood and fiber cement siding. The drainage benefits of this product can also be leveraged behind Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS) and synthetic one-coat stucco systems. Tyvek® DrainWrap™ also is an ideal solution when foam board is applied over a secondary weather barrier or other flat substrates that can interfere with drainage when applied over a flat secondary weather barrier.
Tyvek® DrainWrap™ can be installed in the same manner as Tyvek® HomeWrap® and StuccoWrap®, however the Tyvek® DrainWrap™ must be applied with the grooves placed in the vertical direction, just like Tyvek® StuccoWrap®. Tyvek® DrainWrap™ is available in 9'x125' rolls.
